This notice explains how Iterola handles personal data when you visit our website, create an account, or use Iterola Email, CRM, Appointments, and related services.

Who is responsible for your data?

Iterola LLC is responsible for account, website, security, billing, and support data used to operate Iterola.

A Business using Iterola normally decides why and how it handles the email, contact, CRM, and appointment data it uploads or receives. For that customer content, the Business is the controller or business and Iterola acts as its processor or service provider, subject to the customer agreement and applicable law.

Data we collect

  • Account and Business data, such as your name, business email address, phone number, language, time zone, organization, roles, and enabled apps.
  • Hosted-email data, including domains, addresses, messages, headers, recipients, attachments, mailbox state, delivery identifiers, and suppression or abuse signals.
  • CRM and Appointments data, such as contacts, companies, opportunities, activities, availability, resources, and appointment details.
  • Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser and device information, session identifiers, request logs, errors, and audit events.
  • Support, communication, and transaction data you provide when you contact us or purchase a service. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Iterola.

Where data comes from

We receive data directly from you, from administrators and users of your Business, from messages sent to or by an Iterola mailbox, and automatically from your browser or device when you use the service. Some domain and email-routing details also come from public DNS and mail systems.

Why we use data

Where applicable, our legal bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent for optional activities, and compliance with legal obligations.

  • Provide, maintain, and support the apps and features you request.
  • Authenticate users, manage access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot incidents, and protect the service.
  • Route, store, search, and deliver email and other customer content.
  • Administer subscriptions, transactions, service messages, and support requests.
  • Improve reliability and understand aggregate service usage.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.

How we disclose data

We disclose data only as needed to operate Iterola: to authorized users and administrators of your Business; to infrastructure, storage, identity, email-delivery, anti-abuse, payment, support, and monitoring providers acting under contract; to external mail providers and recipients selected by users; and when required for legal, safety, or corporate-transaction purposes.

Iterola does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet the retention choices of the Business, maintain security and backups, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention varies by record type and account status.

Raw copies received by the hosted-mail ingress edge may be retained for up to 30 days for reliable delivery and troubleshooting. Deleting an account or message may not immediately remove encrypted backup copies, which expire through normal backup rotation.

International transfers

Iterola and its providers may process data in countries other than where you live. When required, we use contractual and other safeguards intended to protect personal data transferred across borders.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted infrastructure permissions, logging, and other organizational and technical measures designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong unique password and report suspected account misuse promptly.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know about and access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority.

California residents may also have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; to opt out of sale or sharing; and not to be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. Iterola does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, email legal@iterola.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority. If your data belongs to an Iterola customer Business, contact that Business first; we will assist it as required.

Cookies and local storage

Iterola uses cookies or browser storage needed for login, security, language, appearance, and other service preferences. Advertising and optional analytics integrations are not enabled for the initial release. If that changes, we will update this notice and provide any consent or choice required by law.

Children

Iterola is a business service and is not directed to children. Do not create an account or provide personal data if you are not old enough to consent to data processing in your country.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the service or law changes. We will post the updated date here and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.

Questions and privacy requests can be sent to Iterola LLC at legal@iterola.com.
